EPA: Carbon Emissions In 2020 Reduced By A Lower Margin Than In 2019.

Transport emissions fell by 15.7 per cent last year, due to strict restrictions.

Carbon emissions reduced less last year than in 2019 - despite Covid lockdowns.

The environment watchdog says the country won't reach its 2030 target, at the current rate or decline.

The Environmental Protection Agency says they dropped by 3.6 per cent - compared to 4 per cent the previous year.

But Mary Frances Rochford, from the EPA, says household emissions rose by 9 per cent
