Minister Darragh O'Brien says draft proposals to remove the 32 million passnger cap to be presented before October's budget

It will take 10 to 12 months to pass legislation to remove the passenger cap at Dublin Airport, according to the Transport Minister.

Proposals to draft legislation will be brought to the government before the budget in early October.

Controversy has surrounded the current 32 million passenger cap.
