Figures drop to 649
The number of people being treated in Irish hospitals with Covid-19 has fallen to it's lowest level this year.
649 people are receiving treatment - a drop of 58 on yesterday - while 69 people are in ICU.
Meanwhile UCC Professor of Immunovirology, Liam Fanning, is hopeful daily case the numbers will continue to decrease.
Professor Fanning says the easing of most restrictions is looking good, as most of the population is vaccinated:
