A court has heard gardaí have not spoken to the alleged 10 year old victim of a sexual assault in West Dublin due to medical advice.
The 26 year old man accused of the offence has appeared in court for the third time.
He is charged with the sexual assault of the girl at Garter Lane Saggart on the 20th of October.
The Judge was told the file is at an advanced stage but DPP directions are not ready as gardaí have not spoken to the young girl on medical advice.
The court heard the accused is on a waiting list for the Central Mental Hospital, but there’s no report to hand yet.
He was remanded in custody to appear in court in two weeks.
