There are calls for a public investigation into a case where a pregnancy was terminated after inaccurate health advice was given on an unborn child.

Dublin couple Rebecca Price and Patrick Kiely decided to have an abortion, after they were told their baby had a fatal foetal abnormality.

Their case against the National Maternity Hospital, five consultants and a Scottish lab was settled yesterday, after full liability was admitted.

Deputy Tóibin is calling for a full inquiry.
