Another Multi Million Euro Drugs Seizure Revealed

Cannabis and cocaine seized at Rosslare Europort.

Almost €6.5 million worth of drugs have been seized at Rosslare Europort.

Over 360 kilos of cannabis and 3 point 3 kilos of cocaine were discovered by Revenue officers after stopping and searching a ferry from France yesterday.

A man in his 40s was arrested and is being questioned at a garda station in County Wexford.

Forensics examinations are continuing following yesterday's massive drugs seizure at the Port of Cork.

More than half a tonne of what's believed to be 'crystal meth' was found - with an estimated street value of almost 33 million euro.

Two Irish nationals were later arrested in follow up searches in Cork and Kerry.

Two firearms were also recovered.
