Almost 16,000 Covid 19 Cases Recorded In The Last Week.

NPHET says the 19 to 24 age-group has the highest incidence rate.

Only twice in the whole pandemic were Covid cases higher than they were over the past week.

There have been 15,740 in the most recent week, and only two weeks around the New Year were higher.

The @hpscireland has today been notified of 3,174* confirmed cases of #COVID19.

As of 8am today, 460 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 86 are in ICU.
