The four year old boy died in March.
A woman in her 20s has been arrested in connection with the death of a young boy in Limerick.
The four year old died as a result of head injuries sustained earlier this year.
Niall Colbert reports:
"On March 13th, four year old Mason O’Connell-Conway suffered serious head injuries at a house in Rathbane Limerick.
He was rushed to Temple Street Children’s Hospital for treatment, but died a few days later.
An inquest would later attribute a traumatic head injury as the cause of his death.
Last month, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were arrested on suspicion of murder.
They were released without charge.
Gardai have confirmed today the woman in her 20s has been arrested for a second time - after a warrant was issued by a District Court Judge.
She's now being held at Roxboro Road Garda Station for questioning as part of the investigation into Mason's death."
