A New Survey Shows Pedestrians Are Not Making A Good Enough Effort To Be Visible On The Road

It shows that 6% of pedestrians never, or only sometimes wear a high-vis vest.

A new survey shows pedestrians are not making a good enough effort to be visible on the road.

The poll for AVIVA, shows 6 percent of pedestrians never, or only sometimes wear a high-vis vest despite the high number of pedestrian fatalities.

That figure rises to one in three, or 34 percent, for Ireland’s youngest adults, and 33 percent for those living in Dublin.

Spokeswoman Julie Frazer, says the message doesn't seem to be getting through.
