66% Of Covid Patients Being Treated In ICU Are Unvaccinated.

The five-day moving average of new cases has dropped by 4 per cent in the past week

About two thirds of the 66 Covid patients in ICUs are unvaccinated, according to the Intensive Care Society.

The number of patients in hospital with the virus dropped to 291 last night - after rising above 300 over the weekend.

The five-day moving average of new cases has dropped by 4 per cent in the past week, and now stands at 1,272.

Dr Alan Gaffney, the vice-president of the Intensive Care Society, says there's a noticeable difference in Covid patients in ICUs.
