290 Jobs Announced By AMD In Dublin & Cork

The four-year investment will fund strategic research and development projects.

US semiconductor firm AMD has announced plans to create 290 new jobs in Dublin and Cork as part of a $135 million investment in its Irish operation.

The new jobs include engineering and research positions, as well as a broad range of additional support roles.

The four-year investment will fund strategic research and development projects.

AMD acquired Xilinx in 2022 which has had a presence in Ireland since 1994.

The expansion announced today was supported by the Irish government through IDA Ireland.
