Gardaí from the National Immigration Bureau carried out an operation yesterday removing individuals from the State.
This resulted in 21 men, 9 women and 5 children being put on a chartered flight to Nigeria from Dublin Airport last night.

The Justice Minister said the flight landed safely in Lagos this morning adding the people on board had received but had not complied with Deportation Orders.
This is the third deportation flight this year but the first to Nigeria.
Last month 39 people were deported to Georgia, while in February 32 people were also deported to Georgia.
