20% Increase In Exports From Ireland To Britain Since January.

Imports from the UK down 33%.

Exports from Ireland to Britain have risen by 20 per cent despite fears Brexit would damage trade between the two countries.

The British Irish Chamber says Irish exports are holding up much better than expected.

However imports from Britain are down 33 per cent since last January.

Paul Lynam from the British Irish Chamber says the dynamics could change significantly when Brexit measures are fully introduced
