A new Women's Shed opens today in Athy.
It's a space for women to come together and do activities of interest.
The group is open to women of all ages and will be located at the Athy Community House.
Laura Whelan, Community Worker, Athy MD commented:"It's a very broad brief, so it can be crafts, DIY, gardening or art.
"The women will decide what they want to do," she insisted.
"We're hoping to run an interior design course in the next few weeks," she added.
