Kildare residents relying on the Hill of Allen reservoir have faced an average of one water outage a month in 2025.
It is the worst year for disruptions in recent times.
Figures from Uisce Éireann provided to Kildare North Social Democrats TD Aidan Farrelly show there have been 21 outages since January 2023.
Only three outages were planned for system improvements.
Thirteen were due to burst mains.
One outage in July was to conserve water.
Two - in January and May - were caused by reservoir interruptions.
Each outage affected almost 3,000 premises.
