Pfizer Bio-N-Tech vaccine available
A walk-in booster vaccination clinic opens in Punchestown today, Thursday.
The Pfizer Bio-N-Tech vaccine will be available for those aged between 60 & 70 years.
The clinic will operate on from 4 - 7 pm.
According to the HSE, if an individual has received an Astra Zeneca or Janssen vaccine, an mRNA vaccine, such as Pfizer Bio-N-Tech is suitable for a booster dose.
The HSE adds if a person was infected with the virus since vaccinated, "you should get your booster dose at least 6 months after your positive test result."
Photo identification, with date of birth is needed at your appointment.
The walk-in clinic will open again, for the same age group (60-70 years) on Sunday, between 10am & 12pm.
Even if you have already had COVID-19, you should still get vaccinated because you could become infected with the virus again. Get more information and register here: https://t.co/nTNxEJWWWr #COVIDVaccines | #ForUsAll pic.twitter.com/5RvN6T2JHH
