In all, 22 firms across Ireland are to benefit from a total of €70 million.

Two Kildare firms have been granted a combined €5.7 million to enable them to develop and diversify, following Britain’s exit from the European Union.

The monies are jointly from the Dept. of Agriculture and the Dept. of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

Moyvalley Meats in Broadford has been given €749,416 for "Capital investment to support product and market diversification"

While Dawn Farm Foods is Naas has been given €4,951,550 to support product and market diversification
