Gardaí have carried out a major operation in Kildare as part of ongoing investigations into organised criminal activity linked to rural burglaries across the North Western Region.

Two male juveniles were arrested during the operation and are being detained at a Garda station in the Eastern Region under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Gardaí say investigations are continuing.
