Martin Heydon and Louise O'Reilly spoke on the issue
There was a heated exchange between Fine Gael's Martin Heydon and Sinn Fein's Louise O'Reilly on this morning's 'Kildare Today' programme.
Yesterday, the Government signed off on a plan to increase PRSI over five years to replenish the Social Insurance Fund.
Under the plan there will be incremental increases in all classes of PRSI.
The decision will see hikes in PRSI rates for employers, employees and the self-employed.
These increases will support the retention of the State Pension Age at 66.
However, Sinn Fein the Government's approach, saying they are "getting it all wrong".
