Cllr. Anne Connolly brought forward the motions at the Kildare Newbridge MD.
Regeneration works on St Patrick's Park, Rathangan still has no start date.
Fianna Fáil Cllr. Anne Connolly asked the council if it has received approval for Stage 2 regeneration works, which was submitted to the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage on the 15th October.
"This work is going on a considerable amount of time now, but the council have not received any update yet," she said.
Cllr. Connolly wants works to begin 2022, and says the people of Rathangan have waited long enough.
The council has said it is still awaiting Stage 2 Approval from the Department. Once approval is received the next step is the Launch of Part 8, expected Early Q1 2022.
Cllr. Connolly has asked the council to upgrade the footpath from Beechgrove to Spencer Court, Rathangan.
She says the footpaths are not suitable for users, especially for the three wheelchair users in the town.
The Municipal District Office has said it can examine the proposal as part of the 2022 LPT programme, subject to budget and councillor approval.
