State Exams Begin For Thousands In Kildare: Students Reminded There’s "More Than One" Path After Exams

The exams will run until the 24th of June.

Over six thousand students across Kildare will begin their Leaving Cert, Junior Cert and LCA exams this morning.

Across the country, over 140 thousand pupils have started their exams with English Paper One this morning.

Around 4 million examination papers will be handed out at more than 15 thousand exam centres over the next three weeks.

Students are being reminded that there's more than one path after exams - while education Minister Helen McEntee says it's important for students to remember supports are available if they feel overwhelmed.

The exams will run until the 24th of June.
