So Far This Year, Kildare County Council Has Raked In Almost Half A Million Euro From Parking Fines

From January 1 to April 29 this year, the council issued 9,156 parking tickets.

Almost half a million euro has already been collected in parking fines by Kildare County Council in the first four months of 2025, new figures reveal.

From January 1 to April 29 this year, the council issued 9,156 parking tickets, generating €455,370 in revenue.

The data highlights a continuing upward trend in both fines issued and revenue collected.

In 2024, a total of 27,275 parking tickets were issued in the county, bringing in €1,206,270 in fines.

This marked a sharp increase from 2023, when 19,027 tickets were issued and €877,695 was collected.

The figures suggest that, if the current pace continues, 2025 could surpass previous years in both ticket volume and total revenue.
