Rents in Kildare have increased by 7.75%, year on year, and rose by 3.5% in the second quarter of this year.
Figures from the Residential Tenancies Board show the average national rent now stands at €1,352, but in Kildare it's €1,437.81

Rent in Dublin is up 4.4 percent year-on-year, while outside the capital it has increased by 10.4 percent.
The research shows the cost is growing fastest in Leitrim, Laois, Sligo and Wicklow.
