RSA Urges Everyone To Slow Down On The Roads This St. Stephen's Day

2023 has been an horrific year on Irish roads, with pedestrian deaths on course to be the highest in fifteen years.

The Road Safety Authority is urging everyone to slow down on the roads this St. Stephen's Day.


It says if pedestrians are hit at 60 kilometres per hour, 9 out of 10 will be killed, but if they're struck at 30 kilometres per hour, 9 out of 10 will survive.
