Power Capital Renewable Energy
An Irish renewable energy company is to invest €140 million in six ready-to-build solar farms.
Power Capital Renewable Energy bought solar farm sites in several counties including Kildare, Galway, Waterford & Clare.
The firm acquired the sites from Renewable Energy Systems, for an undisclosed amount.
The sites come complete with planning permission from local councils, including Kildare County Council.
It brings the company's total portfolio to over 1.1 GW.
Co-Founder of PCRE, Justin Brown, says everything changed for the company when it was bought by a French private equity firm.
