Kfm recently reported how the man's body may have lain undiscovered for some time.
A post mortem examination has been completed on the body of a man discovered at 11am last Thursday at an Apartment on Stanhope Street in Athy, just off Emily Square.
Gardai have told Kfm that following the results of the post mortem, investigations into the man's death are continuing.
