Gardaí have completed their investigation of the site where a helicopter crashed near Kilcullen, on Sunday afternoon.
A body has been removed from the scene and taken to Naas Mortuary where identification will take place.
At around 3pm on Sunday, the privately owned aircraft came down in a field in Kennycourt, Brannockstown.
The Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) are the lead agency in this investigation.
Gardaí have confirmed that the deceased was the only person on board the aircraft.
A Garda file is being prepared for the Coroner's Court.
