Pigeon Lane In Kildare Town Closed Periodically In April

Works will take place periodically for 5 days.

Pigeon Lane, L70256 , will be closed periodically during the period commencing Monday, 11 April 2022.

This is to facilitate the installation of a new road junction, L7014 Green Road to R445, complete with all services at the entrance to the housing development.

Kildare County council advises that planned works are programmed for 5 calendar days.

Advance notification of start date will be provided.

It advises that the roads will be opened early if works are completed early.

Northbound vehicles shall be directed along the R445 and redirected to the L7014 White Abbey Road.

Traffic will then be directed onto Friary Road and then finish at the junction with L70256 Pigeon Lane.

Southbound vehicles shall be directed to the L7014 Friary Road and then redirected onto White Abbey Road.

Traffic will be redirected onto the R445 to finish at the junction to the L70256 Pigeon Lane.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.

Members of the public who have objections/observations should lodge them in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Roads, Transportation & Public Safety, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare.
