Kildare Senator, Fiona O'Loughlin, is a member of the committee.
The Oireachtas committee Disability Matters has made 38 recommendations on funding for support services.
Its report is now being assessed by the Dept. of Finance.
The committee is focusing on ways in which to aligning Disability funding with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The Committee have further concern that the level of unmet need in the disability sector, which must be addressed in Budget 2022, cannot be fully assessed until the Disability Capacity Review is published.

Speaking to Kildare Today, she says multi-annual funding for support organisations is another key matter.
