8,876 people visited the museum in 2024
There has been a steady increase in the number of visitors to the Curragh Museum year on year.
That's according to the Department of Defence, who issued a response to a parliamentary question raised by Labour TD for Kildare South Mark Wall.
Located within the Defence Forces Training Centre, the museum displays historic items of significance from the State and Defence Forces.
8,876 people visited the museum in 2024, up from 5,680 in 2023 and 2,670 in 2022.
Minor refurbishment works to the exterior of the museum are planned to be carried out by Defence Forces in due course.
