Newbridge Woman Not Happy After Finding Disparty Between Listed Weight On Products And Actual Weight

Frances says consumers are being ripped off and misled.

A Newbridge woman is encouraging people to weigh all of their products after grocery shopping.

Frances McDonnell has been weighing everyday household products such as flour and shampoo, and has found that not all products are what they say on the tin.

After her recent weekly shop, Frances weighed a 2Kg bag of flour, upon weighing the flour she found the actual weight was 1.72Kg.

A bottle of shampoo which was labelled as 250 ml, when weighed came in at 207ml.

Frances contacted Kfm, she's angered that her and other consumers are being misled, especially as the cost of living is increasing at a rapid rate.
