A Newbridge woman has become the first female in Ireland to pass one of the most coveted professional examinations in the security industry.

Claire Regan, an Account Manager with Manguard Plus, passed the Certified in Security Supervision & Management examination awarded by International Foundation for Protection Officers.

Managing Director of Naas based Manguard Plus, Sean Hall says “ The Exam is incredibly difficult to pass as candidates have to achieve a pass mark of 70%”.

Founded in 1996, Manguard Plus is the largest privately owned Irish security company in Ireland.

It employs over 1,000 people in Naas, Dublin, Waterford, Derry, Belfast, London and Chester.
