They say the changes need to reversed on the main street.
A Newbridge resident has called for the cycle lanes and bollards on Newbridge main street to be reversed.
Glen Healy said he supports safe cycle lanes once they are done in an appropriate and safe way.
"There's no space for buses to manoeuvre," he said.
Mr. Healy told Kfm, "The width of the bus is 2.8m and the width of the road is only 2m 950 on each side.
"There are huge hold ups when a bus pulls in," he added.
He has already gathered 1500 signatures from local residents looking for the changes to be reversed.
