In the population in general between 4% and 11% of people live with personal disorders.

The majority of people in prison in Ireland live with personality disorders.

That's according to a senior Irish Prison Service psychologist, Dr Margaret McGovern.

In the population in general, the Irish Times reports, between 4% and 11% of people live with personal disorders.

Fíona Ní Chinnéide is Executive Director of the Irish Penal Reform Trust.
