New Report Finds Just Two Homes Available Under HAP In Kildare

Ber Grogan, Executive Director at the Simon Communities of Ireland, said the budget doesn't effectively address the problem.

Just two properties were available to rent with the Housing Assistance Payment in Kildare last month.

The Simon Communities latest Locked Out report shows a single home was on offer on Daft.ie in Dublin City.

It says thousands will continue to experience the trauma of homelessness unless developers and landlords are obliged to offer social and affordable housing.
