New Patient Advocacy Service Operating For Kildare People.

The service will support people making complaints about care in HSE services.

A Patient Advocacy Service has been established, offering people Co. Kildare support in making a complaint about care they've received in a public hospitals.

The service was commissioned by the National Patient Safety Office in the Department of Health and is provided by the National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities.

Sevice Manager, Claire Lehane, has been speaking to Kildare Today.

She outlines the supports on offer.

The Patient Advocacy Service helpline is on 0818 293003.

The helpline is open Monday to Friday from 10am until 4pm.
