Just under 9,000 new homes were completed in the third quarter of the year, according to the CSO's New Dwelling Completions Q3 2024 report.
That's an increase of 6.3% on the same quarter last year.
More than four in 10 of the completions in quarter three this year were in Dublin, with 16% in the mid-east region - consisting of Kildare, Louth, Meath and Wicklow.
346 homes in total were built in Kildare in this time.
A breakdown of homes completed across the county in Q3 of 2024 are as follows:
Maynooth - 85
Newbridge - 74
Naas - 61
Clane - 41
Kildare - 34
Celbridge - 29
Athy - 20
Leixlip - 2
By Local Electoral Area, the most completions in Q3 2024 were in Clondalkin with 622, which includes Newcastle, Rathcoole, Saggart, and Citywest.
