A new Cathaoirleach of the Kildare Newbridge Municipal District has been appointed.
Fianna Fáil Cllr., Rob Power, was elected at today's annual meeting.

Social Democrats Cllr., Chris Pender, has been elected Leas Cathaoirleach.
Both councillors will serve a 12 month term of office.
