As of December 31, 2024, a total of 282 applications have been submitted, with 219 approvals granted and 91 grants issued.

Almost €5 million euro was paid out to locals who brought 91 vacant or derelict buildings back to life.

The vacant property grant offers up to €70,000 to individuals seeking to refurbish vacant or derelict properties for use as permanent homes or rental properties.

Payments are issued upon completion of the works and submission of the necessary paperwork to confirm compliance with approved plans.
