Operations mounted on the M7 & M4.

A driver in Kildare has been arrested, while a second's vehicle has been seized.

Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped a car on the M7 last night.

The driver failed a breath test and were detained.

While, in another Naas RPU operation on the M4 last night, a car 145kph in a 120kph zone.

The vehicle was stopped & it was found that the driver was uninsured.

The car was seized.

Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting speed checks on the M4 when they detected this car travelling at 145kph in a 120kph zone. The car was stopped & it was found that the driver was uninsured.

In both cases, Gardai say, proceedings are to follow.
