Naas General: People Should Only Attend The ED If "Absolutely Essential".

It is experiencing a surge in admissions.

Naas General Hospital is continuing to ask people people to "consider their care options before presenting" to its Emergency Department.

Hospital management yesterday said the facility was "experiencing a very busy period with a significantly increased number of people requiring admission to the Hospital."

Naas General is asking that people "only attend our emergency services if absolutely essential. If you are unwell, please go to your GP or pharmacy in the first instance."

It is asking those experiencing a medical emergency who do attend the ED to follow Covid 19 public health guidelines.
