Moyvalley Hotel Denies Kfm News Story Regarding IPAS

Hotel issues strongly worded statement refuting any plans for change of use

Moyvalley Hotel has contacted Kfm, denying the hotel is going to be used for IPAS.

A statement from the company says:

"Moyvalley Hotel wish to confirm that the headline published by KFM radio on Friday August 1st 2025 at 21:01 is false and untrue.

Moyvalley Hotel is seeking an immediate apology and the article be removed from their website before this false rumour gains any more traction.

Moyvalley Hotel already confirmed in February of this year that all discussions with IPAS were terminated and closed.

Moyvalley Hotel has been pleased with the large amount of weddings that continue to be booked at our beautiful Resort."

Friday night's Kfm news story was in reference to a planning query referencing Moyvalley Hotel in documents lodged by another company with Kildare County Council earlier this year, and replied to by the Council in April.

Those documents concern a company called Marble Dale Ltd, and Kfm accepts that this company has no association with Moyvalley Hotel and that Moyvalley Hotel was not involved in any way with Marble Dale Ltd's planning query to Kildare County Council.

Kfm further accepts that Moyvalley Hotel never had any plans for change of use from its current hotel status, nor does it currently have and continues to trade as normal.

Kfm apologises for any misunderstanding created by our original story.
