Mondello Park has applied to Kildare County Council for planning permission for a new two-storey hospitality building, consisting of a reception area, bar, corporate/dining area and more.
Plans have also been lodged to refurbish and extend the existing museum in the form of a new mezzanine level.
Permission is also being sought for a new pedestrian overbridge, including a lift for disabled access, as well as two new cycle racks and four electric vehicle recharging spaces.
Improvements to existing accesses through enhanced road signage, road markings and extended sightlines would also be carried out.
A decision is due by the 5th of March.
