Medical Council Launches Doctor Well-Being Supports.

Many doctors are coping with the pandemic, and the cyber attack on the HSE.

A new doctor wellbeing campaign has been launched by the Irish Medical Council in the wake of a study which found many experienced a decline in their mental wellbeing

That survey was conducted by the Hospital Doctor Retention and Motivation Project

Medical practitioners are dealing with the pandemic, pre-existing pressures and the impact of the cyber attack on the HSE.

The campaign contains 6 key supports, and CEO of the Medical Council, Leo Kearns says, in tandem, doctors must learn to reach out for help.
