McGregor Asks Locals To Lobby Councillors To Back His Presidential Bid

He says he wouldn't sign any bill into law until it goes back to the people.

Straffan resident Conor McGregor has used social media to appeal to the public to ask local councillors to back his bid to become President.

He posted a video online where made comments outside government buildings.

He says he wouldn't sign any bill into law until it goes back to the people.

In order to appear on the ballot he must be nominated by at least 20 members of the Dail or Seanad, or no less than four local authorities.
