Women accounted for most of the 19,262 inpatient cases, with maternity care the biggest driver.
Men made up a slight majority of the 45,757 day-case attendances, led by dialysis and radiotherapy.
The inpatient workload totalled 19,262 cases, with women accounting for the majority - just over 11,000 compared with 8,100 men.
Maternity services dominated, with 2,944 obstetric procedures, including 1,187 caesarean sections, 380 assisted deliveries, and 29 breech births.
