Man (50s) assaulted
A man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Clane.
Gardai believe a second man was also involved.
At approximately 11.20am on Saturday, a man in his 50s was attacked in residence in Clane.
The injured man remains at Tallaght Hospital, receiving treatment for his injuries.
Gardai are continuing to appeal for witnesses who were in the Abbeylands area of Clane between 11 & 11.30am on Saturday morning.
