She was handed a life sentence after pleading guilty
A 49-year-old woman has admitted murdering her two children in Westmeath.
Lynn Eagar, of Winetown in Rathowen, but originally from Brannockstown here in Kildare, was due to stand trial early next year, but was today handed a life sentence after pleading guilty to the murders.
Thelma Dennany was 5-years-old; and her brother Michael was only two, when their mother set their car on fire in Multyfarnham on the 9th of September last year.
