Lucan Raid Yields €239k In Cash, Passports And IDs In ATM Withdrawal Probe

During a search last night in Lucan, Gardaí recovered almost €239,000 in cash, 668 Polish zloty, nine passports, five driving licenses and three other IDs.

More searches have been carried out in relation to large cash withdrawals from ATMs in Dublin and Cork.

A man in his 30s, who was arrested over the weekend, remains in Garda custody.

A woman in her 30s who was arrested on Saturday has been released without charge, pending a file to the DPP.
