Locals In Piper's Hill Demand Action On 40 Minute Delays Getting To & From Their Home.

The area is home to 4 schools, and several housing estates.

Traffic volumes and movement around Piper's Hill in Naas is being described as "chaotic".

The area, on the Kilcullen to Naas Road, is home to four schools and the headquarters of Kildare Wicklow Education and Training Board,

There are several housing estates using the same access point

Locals have started a petition, calling for action to calm the traffic.

The petition says " Residents have been raising this for some time now, however Kildare County Council and the Ballymore Group have not come up with a solution. 

We need actions now. We appreciate all the support we can get so we can have our concerns heard, so we would greatly appreciate if you could please sign this petition to help us raise awareness."

Niamh Esmonde lives in Bellingsfield at Piper's Hill.

Speaking to Kildare Today, she says she has witnessed numerous near-misses at peak school travel time.
